High-Efficiency Power Optimization Based on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface for Nonlinear SWIPT System

This paper presents an investigation of the transmitting power consumption a base station (BS) in simultaneous wireless information and transfer (SWIPT) system enhanced by reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). The aim is to optimize total when sending signals energy from BS ground sensors. To this end, optimized satisfying sensor’s minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), phase shift constraints RIS, each power-splitting (PS) ratio. In order decouple optimization variables, we use technique block coordinate descent (BCD) transform problem into subproblems. second subproblem, unit modulus are approximated using successive convex approximation (SCA) method, allowing optimal solutions be obtained solving subproblems iterative manner. Our numerical simulation results show that can significantly decreased adding RIS SPWIT system, even nonlinear harvest models real application scenarios.
